Profile assets
Avatar, banner, backgrounds, audio and cursors.
Profile → Assets holds the files your page uses. Uploads count toward your profile-asset storage (2 GB Standard, 10 GB injuring+), shown on injuring+ → Plan.
| Asset | Formats | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Avatar | PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP | Square works best. Add a decoration from the gallery. |
| Banner | PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP | Shown across the top of the card. |
| Backgrounds | Images and MP4/WebM video | Standard 1, injuring+ 5. Several backgrounds can rotate. |
| Audio | MP3, OGG, WAV, M4A, or a YouTube / SoundCloud / Spotify link | Standard 3, injuring+ 5 tracks. Plays after the visitor clicks to enter. |
| Cursor / pointer | PNG, CUR, ANI | Replace the cursor on your page. Every upload is resized to a proper 32px cursor. |
Music from YouTube, SoundCloud or Spotify
- 1Open Audios
Go to Profile → Assets and find the Audios card. Click Add audio.
- 2Paste a link
Under the upload box, paste a link to a single YouTube video, SoundCloud track or Spotify track and press Add. The title fills in automatically and you can rename it.
- 3Save
Press Save changes. The track plays through that service's own player, so nothing is downloaded. Uploaded files and links can be mixed in one playlist.
- Private videos, removed tracks and videos whose uploader blocks embedding can't be added; if one gets blocked later, the profile skips to the next track.
- Spotify gives no volume control, and visitors who aren't logged in to Spotify hear a 30-second preview.
- Need music you're allowed to use? The Audios card links to free libraries: Pixabay Music, YouTube Audio Library, Free Music Archive and Incompetech.
Video backgrounds with sound
If your profile has no audio files or track links, a video background plays its own sound (at your audio volume) once visitors enter. Add any track and the track takes priority.
